Clients look to Ceyda for guidance\, counsel and direction when choosing the appropriate best practice solution for their cases. \nCeyda regularly speaks at various industry related conferences\, seminars and at colleges throughout North America and publishes articles or posts blogs related to the field of eDiscovery. Her industry experience at various law firms combined with her experiences at renown litigation support and eDiscovery service bureaus have contributed to her more than 30 years of experience in the legal industry. \n \nPresenters: \n\n\nJeremy Pickens\, Chief Data Scientist\, Conga \nJeremy Pickens\, PhD is an information retrieval research scientist and a pioneer in the field of collaborative exploratory search\, a form of information seeking in which a group of people who share a common\, active information need are mediated and enhanced by machine learning. While at Catalyst Repository Systems and later OpenText\, Dr. Pickens spearheaded the development of Insight Predict\, the first commercially available TAR 2.0 tool\, which also included the first continuous diversification algorithm in the eDiscovery space. Recently\, he led the development of a radically reimagined way of creating and utilizing privilege logs that drastically reduces the human effort needed. Now as Chief Scientist at Conga\, he applies similar process-oriented intelligent algorithms to the contract AI space. Dr. Pickens earned his doctoral degree at the University of Massachusetts\, Amherst. He conducted his post-doctoral work at King’s College\, London and has conducted basic and applied research at FX Palo Alto Lab\, Inc. He continues to organize research workshops and speak at scientific conferences around the world and has several patents in the field of information retrieval. \n\n\nLilith Bat-Leah\, Vice President\, Data Services\, Digital Prism Advisors\, Inc. \nLilith specializes in the strategic application of data science\, AI/machine learning\, and analytics. Her goal is to guide stakeholders through technical considerations that impact risk and cost to arm them with the information and resources they need to make the best decisions for their organizations.
