President
Carolyn Anger is a Senior Director at Consilio, based in Toronto, Canada. Consilio is a global leader in eDiscovery, document review and legal consulting services with professionals and data centres across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. At Consilio, Carolyn specializes in eDiscovery strategy and management, offering technical and practical guidance to clients on the most efficient, accurate, and cost-effective methods for responding to discovery requests and conducting investigations involving digital evidence.
Over the past twenty years, Carolyn has built a name for herself as an expert in all phases of eDiscovery by successfully managing and leading some of Canada's most significant and complex matters. She has extensive experience managing the discovery elements of complex commercial litigation and investigations and has significant expertise in Supplemental Information Requests and Section 11 Orders received from the Competition Bureau.
Chris Walker
Vice President
Chris has over 14 years of eDiscovery and documentary evidence management experience in complex business disputes. From his years spent in the litigation-support environment as law clerk, manager and consultant, Chris has been responsible for overseeing all elements of the documentary discovery and litigation-support workflow including strategic planning and execution, financial management, innovation and growth, risk management and business development initiatives. Chris has extensive experience working to develop and deploy the best combination of personnel, legal processes, project management and technology to solve complex challenges.
Eda Bardhi
Secretary
Eda Bardhi is currently a law clerk at Black Sutherland LLP.
Skilled Law clerk with experience across the Rules of Civil Procedure and PC Law and solid understanding of the Sedona Canada Principles. She brings 12 years of experience to her role as Senior Law Clerk.
After graduating as a Law Clerk from Seneca College in 2008, Eda has worked at a number of well-established Toronto firms both plaintiff and defence. She has worked on trials and hearings and has gained invaluable experience in the management and production of documents and pleadings for large and complex litigation cases, discoveries and trials.
Eda is an associate member in good standing with Institute of Law Clerks and a member of ACEDS. Eda is energetic and dedicated individual who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task she undertakes, or situation she is presented with.
Anna Traer
Treasurer
Anna Traer is a consultant on eDiscovery having over 25 years of experience as a litigation law clerk that evolved to litigation support in several prominent Toronto law firms (Cassels Brock & Blackwell, Lenczner Slaght, and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg). As Director of Litigation Services in an eDiscovery service company (H&A eDiscovery), Anna appreciates the needs of both receiver and provider of eDiscovery services. In December 2012 Anna became one of the first Canadians to be certified by ACEDS. Anna served on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) for 7 years (2011-2017). On the Conference Committee of ILCO, Anna organized and spoke at many sessions on eDiscovery. She also taught a session on ILCO’s Fellowship course on eDiscovery. With an interest in education on eDiscovery and with experience in leadership roles, Anna will work to make ACEDS Toronto chapter a success.
Stephanie Mills
Public Relations & Marketing Director
Stephanie Mills is the Manager of Discovery Services at Cassels, Brock and Blackwell LLP. She has extensive experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property law, aboriginal law, and class actions. Stephanie offers experience with the management of evidence as it pertains to discovery and trial preparation and frequently assists in such capacity with multiple-week hearings. A Certified eDiscovery Specialist sitting on the Board of Directors for the Toronto chapter of ACEDS, she also participates in several groups affiliated with litigation support and e-Discovery including ILTA, and Women in eDiscovery. She has been a law clerk since 2003.
Ceyda Tocsoy
Membership Director
Ceyda is a nationally recognized industry expert with extensive background in designing, building and implementing litigation support and eDiscovery services within various organizations. Her industry experience at various law firms combined with her experiences at renown litigation support and eDiscovery service bureaus have contributed to her more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry. Ceyda frequently consults on large complex eDiscovery and forensic collection projects and enjoys providing best practice advice on variety of litigation support issues to lawyers, clients and colleagues.
Matt Maslow
Director at Large
Matt Maslow is a Director and the eDiscovery Innovation Leader at Deloitte Canada. Matt regularly consults clients on complex matters including the use of Generative AI and machine learning in litigation, regulatory matters, investigations, and data extraction. With over 10 years of experience in legal project management, he specializes in using technologies to address novel-use cases. His certification as an attorney in both the United States and Canada, and his technical expertise allow him to bring a unique perspective to the application of technology solutions. Matt is the Chair of the Ontario Digital Evidence and eDiscovery Working Group and a drafting team member for the Sedona Canada Commentaries on Discovery of Social Media and Artificial Intelligence.
Lauren Fishman

Lauren Fishman is an e-Discovery Lawyer at MT>3, a division of McCarthy Tétrault LLP, in Toronto. Her practice includes a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters with an emphasis on e-Discovery, litigation management and information governance. With over 15 years of e-Discovery experience, Lauren is very knowledgeable about e-Discovery best practices and technologies with experience managing the complete e-Discovery process - from identification, preservation, and collection through to analysis of large data sets using technology, complex electronic document reviews and production. Lauren also advises clients on Data Governance best practice and guidelines for managing electronic information. Lauren is actively involved in the e-Discovery community. She is an active member of Sedona Canada and the former Director of the Toronto Chapter of Women in e-Discovery (WiE).

Her proficiency in various litigation support software showcases extensive expertise in managing large, document-intensive files. Stephanie facilitates clients' learning of industry-leading document review platforms. Her customer-centric approach, collaborative spirit with teammates and clients, and dedication to optimizing task delivery ensure a consistent and high-quality service. Leveraging her distinctive combination of eDiscovery, technology platforms, litigation support, and training experience, Stephanie is an active member of the Canadian eDiscovery Community involved with DEED and WiE Toronto and will be bringing the best of her expertise and client-focused leadership into her role with ACEDS Toronto.
MaryRose Ebos

After law school, MaryRose’s passion for organizing information prompted her to earn a Master of Commerce in Information Management in 2005, just as the electronic information age was a teenager and e-discovery was in its infancy. A desire to effectively manage what she saw as inevitable volumes of information and data informed her approach to the practice of law, first as a litigator in private practice and then, as a commercial lawyer in-house. MaryRose currently provides fractional legal services as e-discovery review lawyer with KLDiscovery, Deloitte and Heuristica. She earned her Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS) designation from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) in 2022 and is currently a member of the Toronto chapter of Women in E-Discovery (WiE) and a Director-At-Large with the Toronto Chapter of ACEDS. She has an active interest in staying abreast of data governance, AI and Gen AI issues and is currently undertaking training and certification as an AI Governance Professional with IAPP.
Andrea Williams

Andrea Williams is a Principal at Fides essociates Inc., a Fractional Resource Services Collective. Drawing on her extensive background in eDiscovery, technology, service delivery, and operations, Andrea specializes in providing comprehensive solutions for a range of legal events, such as commercial litigation, arbitrations, investigations, and regulatory matters. She is experienced in leading project teams and overseeing complex, large-scale and time-sensitive engagements. Andrea effectively balances the demands of diverse stakeholders while navigating technology adoption, strategy, and budget management.
Andrea brings nearly 20 years experience to her role and is committed to supporting the ongoing education and growth of the Canadian eDiscovery community. She looks forward to the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the ACEDS Toronto Chapter.
