Chris Walker | President
Chris Walker serves as President of the ACEDS Toronto Chapter. He is also a Partner in KPMG Canada’s Forensic Technology practice, where he works with clients on matters involving digital forensics, eDiscovery, cybersecurity, and complex data challenges. With more than 20 years of experience in eDiscovery, digital forensics, and documentary evidence management, Chris has spent his career helping organizations navigate investigations, litigation, regulatory matters, and other situations where large volumes of information need to be understood, managed, and acted upon. He is a strong advocate for professional development, knowledge sharing, and building connections across the Canadian legal technology community.
Carolyn Anger | Past President
President Carolyn Anger is a Senior Director at Consilio, based in Toronto, Canada. Consilio is a global leader in eDiscovery, document review and legal consulting services with professionals and data centres across North America, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. At Consilio, Carolyn specializes in eDiscovery strategy and management, offering technical and practical guidance to clients on the most efficient, accurate, and cost-effective methods for responding to discovery requests and conducting investigations involving digital evidence. Over the past twenty years, Carolyn has built a name for herself as an expert in all phases of eDiscovery by successfully managing and leading some of Canada’s most significant and complex matters. She has extensive experience managing the discovery elements of complex commercial litigation and investigations and has significant expertise in Supplemental Information Requests and Section 11 Orders received from the Competition Bureau.
Andrea Williams | Vice President
As Vice President of the ACEDS Toronto Chapter, Andrea Williams is a recognized leader within Canada’s legal technology and eDiscovery community, helping to advance education, industry collaboration, and professional development across the sector.
Andrea Williams is Vice President, Strategic Growth, Canada at Array. With over two decades of experience in legal technology, eDiscovery, litigation support, and business leadership, Andrea brings deep industry expertise, strong relationships across the Canadian legal community, and a proven track record of helping organizations grow. Her career includes leadership roles at Commonwealth Legal and Ricoh eDiscovery, and most recently as Principal at Fides Associates.
Andrea remains deeply engaged in the Canadian legal technology community and is proud to serve as the Vice President of the ACEDS Toronto Chapter, where she supports the Chapter’s educational programming, industry partnerships, and member engagement.
Jasmine Lam | Marketing Director
Jasmine Lam serves as Marketing Director for the ACEDS Toronto Chapter. She is a Manager in Deloitte Canada’s Discovery practice, where she works with clients and counsel on litigation, investigations, and complex dispute matters. With more than eight years of experience supporting legal teams across a range of practice areas, Jasmine brings a practical, client-focused approach to project delivery and is committed to promoting engagement, knowledge sharing, and awareness within the Canadian eDiscovery community.
Stephanie Williams | Membership Director
As Membership Director for the ACEDS Toronto Chapter, Stephanie Williams is dedicated to fostering an engaged professional community. Through her commitment to mentorship, education, and relationship-building, Stephanie helps connect members with valuable learning opportunities, industry resources, and professional networks that support growth across the eDiscovery and legal technology landscape.
With more than two decades of experience in the e-discovery field, Stephanie has built her career working in both law firm and service provider environments, leading to a balanced and practical perspective on the needs of professionals across the industry. Stephanie’s work has centered on guiding clients through the complexities of e-discovery and emerging technologies, ensuring they feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their project lifecycle. Stephanie has always prioritized building meaningful, authentic connections, linking individuals with the right resources, people, and opportunities to help them advance their skills and confidence.
Stephanie’s commitment to mentorship and education is reflected in her roles as a guest lecturer and part time instructor, where she brings real world experience into law clerk and paralegal programs to support those new to the legal industry. Stephanie’s focus is on expanding the Toronto chapter’s membership, increasing retention, and ensuring every member feels supported, included, and inspired to participate actively in the ACEDS Toronto community.
Anna Traer | Secretary
Treasurer Anna Traer is am eDiscovery consultant with over 25 years of experience as a litigation law clerk that evolved to litigation support in several prominent Toronto law firms (Cassels Brock & Blackwell, Lenczner Slaght, and Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg). As Director of Litigation Services in an eDiscovery service company (H&A eDiscovery), Anna appreciates the needs of both receiver and provider of eDiscovery services. In December 2012 Anna became one of the first Canadians to be certified by ACEDS. Anna served on the Board of Directors of the Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario (ILCO) for 7 years (2011-2017). On the Conference Committee of ILCO, Anna organized and spoke at many sessions on eDiscovery. She also taught a session on ILCO’s Fellowship course on eDiscovery. With an interest in education on eDiscovery and with experience in leadership roles, Anna will work to make ACEDS Toronto chapter a success.
Ceyda Tocsoy | Treasurer
Membership Director Ceyda is a nationally recognized industry expert with extensive background in designing, building and implementing litigation support and eDiscovery services within various organizations. Her industry experience at various law firms combined with her experiences at renown litigation support and eDiscovery service bureaus have contributed to her more than 25 years of experience in the legal industry. Ceyda frequently consults on large complex eDiscovery and forensic collection projects and enjoys providing best practice advice on variety of litigation support issues to lawyers, clients and colleagues.
Eda Bardhi | Director at Large
Secretary Eda Bardhi is currently a law clerk at Black Sutherland LLP. Skilled Law clerk with experience across the Rules of Civil Procedure and PC Law and solid understanding of the Sedona Canada Principles. She brings 12 years of experience to her role as Senior Law Clerk. After graduating as a Law Clerk from Seneca College in 2008, Eda has worked at a number of well-established Toronto firms both plaintiff and defence. She has worked on trials and hearings and has gained invaluable experience in the management and production of documents and pleadings for large and complex litigation cases, discoveries and trials. Eda is an associate member in good standing with Institute of Law Clerks and a member of ACEDS. Eda is energetic and dedicated individual who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task she undertakes, or situation she is presented with.
Danny Chan | Director at Large
As Director at Large for the ACEDS Toronto Chapter, Danny Chan supports the growth and development of the eDiscovery community through education, advocacy, and industry engagement. Danny is a Legal Data Intelligence Architect specializing in eDiscovery, legal analytics, and complex data challenges. With extensive experience leading eDiscovery matters and designing data-driven solutions for litigation, investigations, and compliance, he is passionate about helping organizations navigate the intersection of law, technology, and data.
Lauren Fishman | Director at Large
Director at Large Lauren Fishman is Counsel and the National Leader of eDiscovery at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP (BLG), in Toronto. Her practice includes a wide range of commercial and civil litigation matters with an emphasis on eDiscovery and litigation management. With almost 20 years of eDiscovery experience, Lauren is extremely knowledgeable about eDiscovery best practices and technologies with experience managing the complete eDiscovery process – from identification, preservation, and collection through to analysis of large data sets using technology, complex electronic document reviews and production. Lauren also advises clients on Data Governance best practice and guidelines for managing electronic information. Lauren is actively involved in the eDiscovery community. She is a Steering Committee member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 7, and the former Director of the Toronto Chapter of Women in eDiscovery (WiE).
Nicola Ladd | Director at Large
Director at Large Nicola Ladd is an eDiscovery & Litigation Case Manager on the Discovery Services team in the Litigation Group at Cassels. She is engaged in electronic document and evidence management, including collection, review/analysis and production, from discovery to trial at all levels of civil court in Ontario. Nicola has extensive experience conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing costs submissions, managing undertakings, attending to all aspects of trial preparation and enforcing judgments/orders.
Matt Maslow | Director at Large
Director at Large Matt Maslow is a Director and the eDiscovery Innovation Leader at Deloitte Canada. Matt regularly consults clients on complex matters including the use of Generative AI and machine learning in litigation, regulatory matters, investigations, and data extraction. With over 10 years of experience in legal project management, he specializes in using technologies to address novel-use cases. His certification as an attorney in both the United States and Canada, and his technical expertise allow him to bring a unique perspective to the application of technology solutions. Matt is the Chair of the Ontario Digital Evidence and eDiscovery Working Group and a drafting team member for the Sedona Canada Commentaries on Discovery of Social Media and Artificial Intelligence.
Daniel Mayers | Director at Large
Director at Large Daniel Mayers is an eDiscovery Sales Engineer at Consilio, where he partners with law firms, corporate legal departments, and organizations to deliver defensible eDiscovery and legal data solutions. With more than 15 years of experience in legal technology, consulting, and sales engineering, Daniel advises clients on complex litigation, investigations, regulatory matters, data analytics, review workflows, and information governance. He is passionate about helping organizations adopt practical, technology-enabled approaches to managing electronic evidence and legal data and is a member of The Sedona Conference.
Stephanie Mills | Director at Large
Director at Large Stephanie Mills is the Stephanie Mills is the Assistant Director of Paralegals and Law Clerks at Cassels, Brock and Blackwell LLP. In her management role, Stephanie provides mentorship and guidance to Cassels’ talented team of law clerks and paralegals. Stephanie also continues her work in eDiscovery and has extensive experience in civil litigation with an emphasis on intellectual property law, aboriginal law, and class actions. Stephanie offers experience with the management of evidence as it pertains to discovery and trial preparation and frequently assists in such capacity with multiple-week hearings. A Certified eDiscovery Specialist sitting on the Board of Directors for the Toronto chapter of WiE, she also participates in several groups affiliated with litigation support and e-Discovery including ILTA, Sedona Canada and ACEDS. She has been a law clerk since 2003.
